AIMM Recording Studio

Our state-of-the art Recording Studio occupies a 3-room suite on the northwest corner of the AIMM Building in room 235. It is fully equipped with an SSL Matrix mixing board, a range of microphones and pre-amplifiers, and other professional equipment. The studio is staffed and coordinated by Mark Kalinowski (kalinows@tcnj.edu) and the Center for the Arts, in collaboration with faculty in the Music Technology area.

The studio is available for course projects as well as for extracurricular creative projects by members of our campus community. To help facilitate student work, weekly Open Studio sessions are available to all TCNJ students. These sessions are staffed by student audio tech workers and scheduled using an online process maintained by students in AMPD (email ampd@tcnj.edu for more information). Additional recording times can be scheduled for a fee to cover production costs.

AIMM Recording Studio Policy

The Studio is used for educational purposes only. Studio facilities and equipment may not be used for any commercial purposes. Read the full Recording Studio Policies and Procedures.
