Hello! My name is Angela Arguson and I am a senior Interactive Multimedia major with minors in Marketing and Spanish. A majority of my work is done in Adobe Creative Suite and consists of graphics, digital art and UX/UI prototyping. I am interested in how art and technology exists in both digital and physical spaces, and exploring new ways to combine the two mediums.
Thesis Project: Diversity Snapshot
My thesis will explore the concept of data visualization, which is the display of data in a more graphical format. This project is based off of a survey sent out to the student body to gather opinions and experiences with diversity on campus. Rather than create graphics that are viewed digitally on the web or on a screen, the responses to the survey will be translated into physical artifacts. I aim to create a physical display to explore a different method of visualizing data and exhibit a snapshot of diversity at TCNJ.
