Hi there! My name is Erin Kraemer and I am a senior Interactive Multimedia major and I am minoring in Graphic Design and Holocaust and Genocide Studies. I specialize in visual design and branding, digital illustration, and motion graphics predominately using the Adobe Creative Suite. I am fascinated with the way we consume media and how interactivity plays a major role in how we experience the world around us.
Thesis Project: More Than Music
More than Music is a virtual reality experience of album artwork. We live in an era where music is predominantly experienced in a digital and mobile format. My thesis aims to create an immersive experience of album artwork to bring a bit of physicality to music that has been lost in the conversion from a tangible piece of music to an electronic MP3 file. I wanted to create a shareable experience, one that people will want to tell their friends about and engage in again and again.
