Hi my name is Israel Dominguez and am an Interactive Multimedia major at The College of New Jersery. I mainly focus my time improving my skills as a web deveopler. During my time at TCNJ I have worked for several start-up companies in both the marketing and web deveoplment field. I’ve also worked for non-profit organizations within Trenton to better improve the communities. After graduation I plan to continue my career in web devepment and hope to work with organizitons who have the desire to help male thier communities a better place
Thesis Project: Trenton Violence Reduction Strategy Website
My thesis will be to create A website for Trenton Violence Reduction Strategy and help market the non-profit organization .Trenton Violence Reduction Strategy(TVRS) is one of the sites that the Bonner Institute works. It is part of our Youth/Adult Development and Juvenile Justice Division which is the division that I’m in. TVRS is founded by the Office of the Attorney General of New Jersey and we mainly work with people who have been incarcerated or are in danger of being incarcerated. We help them by providing Social Work Services, Life Skills Training, Job training and Development, and Outreach worker Collaboration. Other Partners that are associated With TVRS are Trenton Police Department, Union Industrial Home for Children(UIH) Family Partners and The College of New Jersey.
