ScioFit—a start-up founded by a 2014 alumnus—is seeking a graphics design intern to create a logo/spearhead the design of packaging and marketing materials. ScioFit’s first product is called the ProKone—a protein based waffle cone. One of ScioFit’s founders, Jeffrey Himelson, noticed that there was a deluge of healthy ice cream on the market—such as Halo Top, which is now the #1 selling ice cream pint in the U.S.—but there was no healthy ice cream cone. As a devote fan of waffle cones, Jeffrey sought to develop one. Over the past year, ScioFit was able to perfect the recipe and create the ProKone. This opportunity will allow for an intern to take ownership and gain lots of hands on experience—including designing packaging for products that will be sold in many retail locations.
Position: Graphics Design Intern
Number of Hours per Week: 5-10 (very flexible)
Location: Remote
