AIMM After Dark 2018

AIMM After Dark 2018

On Friday November 30, the Departments of IMM and Art & Art History jointly presented their annual AIMM After Dark event. With support from the School of the Arts & Communication, students presented projects produced in courses this semester.  Works on display included musical performances, drawings, paintings, sculpture, and mixed media pieces. First-year students in the school-wide AMM099 seminar presented video responses to a prompt from Dean Maurice Hall, and IMM seniors led interactive demos of their thesis projects. There were open galleries, video game music, an open mic, an Arter’s market sponsored by the TCNJ Rebel Art Movement (RAM), and a SIGGRAPH panel discussion. IMM tea was also served throughout the evening, as well as dinner sponsored by the Department of Art & Art History.

This event, which has been presented continuously for nearly 20 years in various incarnations, had its roots in the earlier SIGGRAPH 3rd December and IMM Winter Showcase evenings. The campus community was cordially invited to attend and participate, and President Kate Foster was in attendance.
