Social Media Intern

Internship opportunity working with a non-profit committee that sponsors, organizes and runs an annual July 4 parade in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.

Approximate hours: 20 hours

Considering the style of the newly developed website, the intern will plan and implement a social media campaign for the July 4 committee to:
 Create awareness of the parade in the preceding months
 Allow parade participants to upload pictures and content during the parade
 Allow management of appropriate content to be published
 Generate interest for future participation in the parade or as a committee organizer

Skills and Responsibilities will include:
 Proposal for implementation of the social media campaign
 Timeline for implementation of the social media campaign
 Deliver the proposal and/or updates at a minimum one committee meeting – meetings held
monthly beginning in January 2020
Social media portals to include:
 Facebook
 Twitter
 Instagram
