One peek, day or night, into the creative shop that is the U-Lab and you see it—we’re plugged into the ideas and technologies that are transforming our culture: animations, mobile applications, video games, interactive music, and more. Our students merge diverse talents across many disciplines with a shared passion for creating design and creative technology projects that empower, entertain, and educate. Working in a culture of supportive creativity, our students develop the skills and knowledge—plus the joy in continual learning—demanded by a field that thrives on constant innovation.

Student Work
You'll have various opportunities to grow professionally, including internships at galleries, museums, and design firms, as well as freelance and commission work. You can showcase your art in student exhibitions, the annual senior show, and external competitions. Networking opportunities include visiting artist lectures, workshops, and career center resources. These experiences will help you build a strong portfolio and career path in the arts.
