Student AIMM Equipment Tech – (21002170)

The School of Art and Communications is seeking candidates for AIMM equipment technician.

The student will provide support to faculty and students within the departments of Art, Design and Creative Technology, and Journalism and Professional Writing.

Main Responsibilities: 

  •      Check out Audio/Visual equipment
  •       Maintain equipment inventory
  •      Assist faculty/students with lab equipment
  •       Set up the lighting studio/darkroom for classes

Learning Objectives: (What skills the student will be developing through this position)

  •  Develop skills with audio/visual equipment

Preferred Qualifications: (List 3 preferred qualifications using bullets)

  • General knowledge of audio/visual equipment
  • Familiarity with the Adobe Suite
  • Good work ethic and organizational skills
