Position Summary
Reporting to the director of marketing and communications, the graphic designer will be the primary visual artist for Wagner College and responsible for the comprehensive design process of print and digital deliverables. This person will imagine, coordinate, develop, and deliver a wide range of communications. The graphic designer will also serve as the primary project manager for print and promotional products.
The graphic designer produces primarily public-facing materials for the promotion of the College to prospective and current students, alumni, and the campus community at large. The designer may also produce materials for on-campus/internal audiences.
Responsibilities
Design projects include:
- Recruitment publications
- Event branding
- Email templates and social media campaigns
- Layout and typesetting
- Custom logo design
- Campus signage
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Applicants must provide a portfolio that includes layout samples and custom vector graphics.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
- Experience working with vendors on print and promotional products, from concept to delivery.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in higher education.
Additional preference will be given to those with experience in:
- Video animation
- Promotional product development
- Enterprise asset management systems
- WordPress and Slate
