Our graduate programs include a new and innovate MA in Environmental Journalism, unique in its requirement that students take classes, in another university department, in environmental science — coursework that will be applied to their capstone enterprise reporting projects to be published by our media partners.

Also unique is our MA in Journalism — Documentary concentration, which instructs students in documentary filmmaking but in a heavily journalistic context that includes coursework in investigative reporting and documentary marketing.

We are accepting applications now, but students can apply as late as a couple of weeks before the beginning of the fall semester.

We will have two graduate assistantships available, beginning in the fall 2020 semester, that cover all tuition and include monetary stipends. Candidates interested in those assistantships should contact me with a resume, letter of interest and three references by the end of February.
