The Office of the Dean, School of the Arts and Communication is seeking candidates for an Arts Administration Assistant.
This is a multi-faceted position that is responsible for a variety of administrative duties including reception for visitors, handling inquiries via telephone and email, standard clerical assignments, and developing and maintaining organizational processes. This position may also work on various research projects and tasks at the discretion of the Dean. The position will work independently with minimal instruction and be responsible for compiling and analyzing data for multiple projects and touch points. Data aggregation and presentation of findings through written and verbal communication will also be required.
Main Responsibilities:
- Streamline front office functions and provide a welcoming environment for the School of the Arts and Communication
- Assist with clerical functions as needed
- Manage research and data aggregation projects
- Compile data points and create presentation materials as requested
- Create comparative reporting, best practices lists, and recommendations based on findings
